In 2019, Henry and were driving on highway 50 through Coolidge, Kansas into Holly, Colorado, with a snowstorm on our heels. I decided to make a quick stop for food and coffee at Jack & Wanda’s Tasty House, and ended of staying for over an hour. When I walked in, the place was empty of customers, and I moved toward voices coming from the kitchen discussing holiday plans. After a while Jack poked his head out to say hello, and he gave me the green light to film, so when Wanda emerged I was rolling, and our conversation that followed covered everything from the changes in country music to small town life and big box stores.
